What is Qigong?

Qigong, also known as Yin Yoga, is the foundational practice behind Tai Chi and is embraced by people worldwide for its health benefits and as a way of life. The term “Qigong” means the skill of cultivating vital energy. It helps promote a balanced, healthy, and ethical lifestyle through practices such as movement, breathwork, healing sounds, self-massage, meditation, balanced living, and using food as medicine. Rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), Qigong works with the body’s meridians and pressure points, enhancing overall well-being and vitality.

What is it good for ?

It's is used as a preventive medicine and also to help healing some health issues.

How is it practiced?

Qigong is practiced in comfortable clothing and can be done standing, sitting, or lying down on a non-slip surface that keeps your feet warm. You can wear trainers, socks on carpets or floor mats, or go barefoot if the temperature is warm enough. An uncluttered space with a radius of at least 1 meter around you is recommended for safe and effective practice.
